This Offshore Sail Training trip blows us up to the legendary sailing area of Newport, RI. Join us for a 650 NM open ocean passage from beautiful Bermuda. You’ll learn a little bit about the cruising lifestyle when we lift the anchor and secure the dinghy on deck. After we set sail you will experience life at sea to the fullest, sailing at least 4 to 5 days non-stop to reach the East Coast.
We will finish this passage in one of our country's most famous sailing waters, Newport Rhode Island. You will learn how to navigate the New England waters and its traffic, shallows, rocks and fishing traps. This trip will bring you an experience of a lifetime in a unique sailing environment!

All our sailing trips are subject to weather conditions which could influence our route and expected departure and arrival dates.
Boarding day on Libra is May 10th in Bermuda, where we will be at anchor in St. George’s. Fly to Bermuda to the L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA). Bring your passport.
Plan your departure from the Libra on May 17th. You have access to the whole area by train and plane. Major airports located around are: Providence T.F. Green International Airport (PVD), Hartford (BDL), Westerly (WST) and Boston (BOS). Amtrak Train also covers a large part of this coastline.
